The VR6 GTI aperently uses the ME7 ECU which I believe is the same ecu as the S70 just with diffrent Eproms. On the diffrent end of the scale form what I've already posted of the s-afc it seems that the VW guys as mentioned somewhere in here have tools like Lemmiwinks.exe and other software that they use to reprogram their own ECU's. If you already have an aftermarket tune from a commercial tuner, it is likley that they will have disabled the ability to read using this method. It is the easiest and best supported method.
Reading the ECU To read your car's stock file from the ECU you can use Tony's free.Another good MLFHFM sanity check is to log ps_w vs actual boost at WOT - ps_w should generally be slightly below actual boost. Scale MLHFM (constant throughout scale vs stock!) to get your idle and partial short term fuel trims (STFT) near zero and your WOT to roughly match your requested. Most non-professionals use TunerPro.įor Hitachi, 0. Support of all major maps for tuning such.
At this moment our application supports Bosch 413, Bosch 506, Bosch ME7.2. This will ensure CAN monitoring is still active for the TCU and ABS, but kill P1650 when running M or L-box software in the earlier Bosch.
